4G Services to be available in India from January
India is all set to roll out its 4G services . Bhopal will be the first city of India to get the 4G service followed by other important cities in the region like Indore, Raipur, Gwalior and Durg in the next three months.
A UK based company Augere will be launching the fourth generation mobile telephony services.Augere will be partnering with Ericsson for network roll out and maintenance. The TD LTE technology is capable of speeds up to 100 Mbps and is backwards compatible with 3G (CDMA as well as GSM) which means that customer will be connected to 3G where 4G network is not available.
Another big player, Reliance Communication had also earlier announced its plan of bringing 4G or LTE to India by January
