Master of small thrills! 
--> There are only a few books which have the ability to keep you enchanted, thrilled, emotionally engrossed and spellbound, I WANT IT (now that, should win me the Booker) by Anupam Dhyani is one of them.
Not many people have the ability to challenge an establishment in a humorous manner. Aravinda Adiga did it with his debut novel, Dhyani has done it too. This fast moving narrative kept me going. I was not able to put it down. The beginning of the book , the humorous dialogue, or i must say monologue between the narrator and the assumed Booker Prize judging panel was hilarious. When the actual narrative takes place after the first fifty odd pages, the author keeps you bound, not a single page is boring and just like many best selling books , this too has a fast pace. The reader would never have to keep the book down to pick it up again.

It takes a lot to make the darkness in life appear humorous, Anupam has taken day-to-day believable incidents and crafted a master story. His approach is simple~ make the reader ask for more. Every turn of a page has a fresh flavor. The entire story is created keeping the young adults in mind. His narrative skills are flawless. I would comfortably call Anupam " the master of small thrills".

An overall amazing read. Hilarious, caustically sarcastic, fast paced and literary sound book. A treat to read. A dollop of satisfaction.
